The Friends of Victoria Hall is now pleased to confirm sponsorship of the 2010 Helensburgh Charity Ball by the Rosslea Hall Hotel, Rhu. We are now able to release more information on the event.
One of the objectives of the the Friends of Victoria Hall is to resurrect the Town's Charity Summer Ball and the hugely successful Homecoming Ball in June of this year was a trial run. The 2010 Charity Ball will take place in the Victoria Hall on Saturday the 19th of June.
Following on from the outstanding success of the the Civic Reception in honour of the visitors from Thouars, Helensburgh’s twin town, held in Helensburgh’s Victoria Hall and hosted by Provost William Petrie supported by Councillor Vivien Dance, Chairman of FOVH, the Rosslea Hall Hotel will continue their "in kind" sponsorship to support the Victoria Hall and this years Charity recipient will be the Helensburgh and District branch of Enable Scotland.
The gourmet quality dinner will feature foods and beverages grown, produced or processed in Argyll and Bute. Head Chef Ross Murray may involve other up and coming local chefs to work with him.
We understand that The Rosslea Hall Hotel where possible, already use Argyll and Bute suppliers and Ross will be contacting current suppliers with a view to inviting further "in kind" sponsorship. We are also keen to involve local retailers where their stock is sourced from Argyll and Bute.
Ticket information will be posted on this site a little nearer the date. We will also release information on the sponsors as soon as we can.
